I turned on this guy’s highlight tape, and once I heard the piano in the Van Halen song I knew it was gonna be a sick watch. Marty Junkins is from Chicago and plays his club ball for Team Illinois and the lefty can put guys in a spin cycle and has a nasty shot. Even though he’s not that big at 5’9 155, he can still slash through defenses and get to the middle with no trouble and uncork a nice shot. He’s fast as hell and can run by guys on the clear, and he’s got the grit to take a few hits while going coast to coast and still put the ball away. He also has great vision and I think he can be a great 2 way threat at the next level. Committed to Denison, it makes sense that they wanted to add his Chi-town grit to their program. Another multi-sport athlete who was a cornhole champion, he fuels his high motor with endless burgers at every cookout.
