Bates started off the season hot, but somehow they ate shit against Midd. Midd didn’t have a great start, and hasn’t won a single game in the Nescac except for Bates. This loss is either going to make or break the Bobcats season. It could be a total fluke, and they can go out there and prove me wrong. But I really think I just overrated Hamilton which is why I hyped Bates up so much for beating them. Bobcats, you are officially on fraud watch. Losing to Midd isn’t a good look. I love Midd, I played there and graduated back in ‘02, but they haven’t had the best start this year and lost a ton of talent. It’s gonna be a rebuilding year for the panthers, so Bates you need to lock the fuck in if you don’t wanna get shattered by the rest of the conference that’s actually good.
Trinity beat Saint John Fisher in a gritty as fuck game between two teams stacked top to bottom with absolute nailguns. Saint John Fisher is a great team in D3, and they ended Wesleyan's season a year before. Underrated as fuck, and all their players are absolute baghounds. Future private equity menace Bo Page erupted for 6 points on the day, and Miles Harvey bagged 3 genos. There 0-2 in the Nescac is misleading, they almost beat Bowdoin, and the Tufts game… well the jumbos were my number 1 ranked overall for a reason. We still hate you Tufts, but we gotta tip our caps at some point. What D’annolfo is doing is working, and as much as that guy is a liberal cuck, some people just are good at what they do, and he can recruit good guys and coach good lacrosse.
Hamilton has completely shit the bed. I really thought they were going to be a good team, given that they had a solid season last year, and barely lost any key players. Clearly, I was dead wrong. Jayme Wilde has underdelivered this year even though he was a beast a few years back, and the continentals just don't look as good. They're a school with pretty solid birds that should fuel them to a great season, it's disappointing to watch.
Williams got absolutely rocked by Wesleyan. The dirty birds doubled them up 22-11, and James Bailey had 4 goals. Guys a beast out of Madison NJ, and there are a lot of nailguns on this Wesleyan team. The Dirty birds only loss was to Salisbury last weekend, and it was by 4. Honestly, not bad at all. I can see this group doing pretty well in both Nescacs and getting a bid to the show.
Last but not least Amherst and Bowdoin have been steamrolling guys left and right. They are off to hot starts and have some great guys. Bowdoin lost a ton of talent from last year, but the Pbears are still touching bag and crushing box after gaping those fucking nerds at MIT, winning 20-7. The Bowdoin offense really dragged their sack over those guys, and it's great to see the Nescac dominating other teams.
Amherst has been a force in the Nescac, and I think it’s correct to assume that the Mammoths would have an easy game against most non-nescac opponents. They might be tested by Denison (a gritty as fuck, blue collar team), but they have a great offense and the best LSM in all of D3. Thompson Lau and Bob "Bath Salts" Gross might lead these guys to a nescac title.  I can’t wait to watch this game absolutely shitfaced on The Reel Deal.
I said this before and I’ll say it again, Trump made the Nescac great again, and the best conference in D3 lacrosse is back and better.
