We have a fucken beautiful slate of D1 lacrosse ahead of us this weekend, with the large majority of the games taking place tomorrow, Saturday the 10th. It's clear after Week 0 that Vegas has no fucken clue what college lacrosse is and sticks all their interns on lax linemaking duty, especially with all the buzz around the Super Bowl this Sunday. We're here to take advantage of that.
While there are plenty of tasty looking lines this weekend, here's our shortlist of best spreads to keep an eye on:
Towson -7 vs. The Mount
Rutgers -5.5 @ Stony Brook
Army -3.5 vs. UMass (Neutral Site)
Jacksonville -3.5 @ Binghamton
Penn State -3.5 vs. Villanova
Colgate -1.5 @ Hobart
A lot of these lines are pretty self explanatory. The Mount is an awful program #SendThemD2 #TheMountIsntReal and are on the road again after getting completely fucked by Navy. Rutgers grinded out a gritty win against a solid Lehigh squad and Stony Brook edged Sacred Heart in what was truly an embarrassing win in their first game. Army has a great looking squad this year and is playing the "drip king" #Squid so they're easy to root for this weekend #GodBlessOurTroops. Jacksonville opens their season on the road and if they want to be respected this year, this game needs to be a no-questions-asked W. Penn State is looking to bounce back, at home, against a Nova squad I'm hearing may be their worst team in a few years. And Colgate, with two high-intensity games under their belts, might be the most surprising line I saw going into week 1. I'll be tossing in a lil $5 parlay with all of the above picks for fun too #TheMathersWay.
